How to Register
- In order to register for this conference, you will need an account. If you submitted a proposal to this conference or to any other conference on this site, please click here to log in and proceed with choosing your registration type; otherwise, once you have read these instructions, scroll to the bottom of the page for the registration form to create a new account and register for this conference.
- Conference Fees Choose one of the Registration Types indicated. If you are a VIP registrant and have been told that your fees have been waived, please have the code you were emailed ready to add to the form. If you have lost the code, please email the Registration Manager
- User Account If this is a new account, you will be asked to fill in your personal information. If you are a returning user, you should see the contact information from your profile.
- Special Requests If you have any dietary concerns or physical access issues that the organizers need to know about, please use this box here. Please do not make requests for travel documents or presenter audio-video here. See "For Authors" instead.
- Method of Payment Choose the method of payment that you will be paying. You may pay by cheque or money order in CANADIAN FUNDS or by VISA or MASTERCARD credit card.
- Register Click on the "Register" button. An email will be sent to you confirming your registration. If you are paying by cheque, please submit your cheque along with a copy of that email. If you are paying by credit card, the Registration Manager will contact you separately with instructions to use our secured registration form.
- Confirmation Once your payment has been received and processed, you will receive a confirmation email stating that your payment has been validated. At this point you are registered for the conference.

Fee Information
- 3 Day Student Registration- Monday July 7th through Wednesday July 9th inclusive
- This registration is for students and includes all sessions on all three days including the Roundtable Feast on the evening of Tuesday, July 8th AND the Keynote and conferences sessions on Wednesday July 9th. **Students are asked to provide proof of full-time studies in a college or university undergraduate or graduate course load BEFORE June 30th, 2008. Please send by fax or email attachment to the Registration Manager. Proof can be a letter from your school or supervisor, a print-out of your registered courses, or a photocopy of a valid student id card.
Cost: $125 CAD plus $6.25 in GST/Federal Goods & Services Tax (5%) for a total of $131.25
- 3 Day Delegate Registration- Monday July 7th through Wednesday July 9th inclusive.
- This registration is for all sessions on all three days including the Roundtable Feast on the evening of Tuesday, July 8th, AND the Keynote, conference and symposium sessions each day.
Cost: $375 CAD plus $18.75 in GST/Federal Goods & Services Tax (5%) for a total of $393.75

Registration for Groups of 5 or more
We gladly reduce registration rates for groups of 5 or more students or delegates. A group of 5 to 9 people each receive a discount of $50 per registrant, while a group of 10 or more each receive a discount of $100 per registrant. Please contact the Registration Manager to make arrangements.Registration Cancellation/Refund
While we strongly encourage substitutions, written refund requests will be accepted until Friday, June 13th, 2008. Please email us and let us know who will be coming in your place before this date or to request a cancellation. There are no refunds for no-shows.All refund requests will be processed AFTER the conference with the following cancellation fees applied:
- CDN $30 for delegate cancellations
- CDN $20 for student cancellations
Non-Canadian Registrants Traveling to Canada and Letters of Invitation
Non-Canadian Registrants
- If you are a non-Canadian registrant, you may require extra documentation to enter Canada. Letters of Invitation
- As a rule, we do not provide Letters of Invitation to general conference registrants. International registrants are advised to use their registration receipt when applying for a Visa to Canada. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause our international participants. You will also find important travelling information on this page. Please email us (conferences@ierg.net) if you have any questions or concerns.
